Overview:
The Yellow Hope Foundation seeks a visionary leader based in the United States to join our Board of Directors as a Volunteer Board Member with expertise in strategy and operations. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our global growth and ensuring consistent progress towards our mission. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of nonprofit management, a proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic plans, and a passion for creating a more just and equitable world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Board and Executive Director to develop and refine the organization's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the mission, vision, and values.
- Lead the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key organizational functions, including global operations, fundraising, and program execution.
- Provide guidance and oversight on program design, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring effectiveness and impact.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to support organizational growth and sustainability.
- Analyze organizational performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as an advocate and ambassador for the Yellow Hope Foundation, promoting its mission and values within the community.
Qualifications:
- Based in the United States.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role within a nonprofit organization, with a focus on strategy, operations, and program management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and SOPs that drive organizational growth and impact.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit governance, best practices, and legal compliance.

Time Commitment:
- Attend quarterly board meetings and participate in strategy and operations committee meetings.
